get this information from a copy of the ordonanta #38 of Oct. 11, 1941?
Related to my searching for the house in which my family stayed in the ghetto,
I wonder if anyone knows of a former resident of Czernowitz, by the
surname of Schachter (with an Umlaut), who now would be about 78 - 79
years old and who's mother was a widow in 1941. He had an uncle who's
name was either Muniu or Benno Schachter, also written with an Umlaut.
I last met this man in Israel,
probably in 1956.
