Actually, in this case there are no choices in mapping the
"Inconoştiinţare" - the text is clear and unambiguous, it reads: "in
cartierul delimitat de străzile" which means "in the neighborhood
bordered [or bounded] by streets". The following list of streets and
landmarks describes (very precisely) the external boundary of the
ghetto. The line on my map shows this boundary.
Unfortunately, Leo's map is inconsistent even with his own
interpretation (e.g., Wilson, Ion Greanga and O.Josif are highlighted,
although they are not mentioned in the list). On the other hand, some
streets in the ghetto are not marked (e.g., Evreiasca and Arbore), and
some highlighted streets were outside of the ghetto (e.g., western
half of General Mircescu and southwestern half of Rasboleni).
