Dear Czernowitzers,
I'm not sure about the correct spelling of the last name since there are a few ways to spell it.
The father: Luka (sp?). The son: Herbert, born in Czernowitz, around 1927. Both physicians. The family remained in Czernowitz after the WWII, and Luka was a popular physician, especially among the German- and Yiddish-speaking Czernowitzers. Luka was a friend of my dad Naftali Hertz Kon.
Herbert emigrated to Israel, some time between 1970s and early 1980s. I do not know whether Herbert resided in Czernowitz or some other city in the USSR at the time of his emigration.
I'd be grateful for any info on either the father or the son.
