The school on the right was from March 1944 (eliberation) up to July
same year, Moldavian i.e. Rumanian language written Cyrillic. The
teachers were mainly Jewish.
In autumn same year I transfered to a Russian school (9th grade),
probably because as you say this one became Ukrainian. Actualy the
Desiatiletka (ten grades) was a combination of elementary and
secondary school.
