  On the Ringplatz were the banks.
   In front stood the automobiles of the directors.
    For people to see where their money went.
     And to see that their investment was sound.
      As sound as the autos in front of the bank.
       And then one day in 1929 Wall street shook.
        Gone were the cars, gone were the directors, gone was the money.
       All the money of my Babe , saved for marrying her daughters
diappeared.
        A new era emerged .
