Shalom to all group members,
This is my first post to this group, and I hope I've followed all rules....
The following story was sent to me by Arie (Leo) Gottfried:
"Binyomin JURGRAU, a Czernowitz resident, died while participating in the
Spanish civil war. His parents who were considered "bourgeois" by the
soviets when they took over Bukovina were spared from being sent to Siberia
because of this son".
I'm researching the JURGRAU family as a whole, but I have very little
knowledge about the JURGRAU branch of Czernowitz.
Comments on the story above, and any information about JURGRAU family
members are welcome.
