Hardy drew my attention to an inscription on the Czernowitz Great Synagogue. Hardy mentioned: "I look at your video clips. Impressive job. In the Alte Shil clip I miss this inscription. Probably on a back wall. It says : created in 5559 which is 1794 AD. The Shil was finished much later but founded 1794. So says the wall." - Thank you, Hardy, I didn't know about this inscription yet, but I included a picture of it to my slide show and replaced the initial video clip by a new one, now available at:
