[Cz-L] RE: czernowitz-l digest: July 07, 2011

My parent karl Rosenzweig were born in Cernowitz in 1922 and 1923. During WW2, they were deported to Transnistria (14/6/1942). My fathers' brother Richard Rosenzweig died im 14/12/1942 in Ladijin on the Bug river. The family was in Carriera de Piatra, Ladijin, Tulcin during WW2. My mothers' brother, Moshe Rosenstrauss-Rosenheck was murdered in a camp on the Bug, probably TARASIVKA on 12/12/1943. My mother's family' Jaacov and Jachet Rosenstrauss-Rosenheck lived in Isacescu 46, Cernowitz.
My grandfather's name was Isidor Rosenzweig. The family lived in: GENERAL AVERESCU 45 Cernowitz, and their Textile fabrique named KARA, was in MOLDOVEI 16, Cernowitz.
I'd like to get some information if anybody knew my family or lived nearby, maps of Cernowitz (nowadays and under Romanian regime), new Ukrainian names for former Romanian street names. I'd like to visit Cernowitz this summer. Thanks for any information. My email address: noemi.eshet_at_gmail.com
