[Cz-L] Czernowitz

Dear Theo,
We are a family of first and second-generation Czernowitzers living in
Berlin at present. My parents and myself emigrated to England in 1959
from Romania, and we still enjoy British citzenship.
A few years ago, a German documentary film-director, Volker Koepp, made
two films about Czernowitz, "Herr Zwilling und Frau Zuckermann" and
"Dieses Jahr in Czernowitz" (also starring Harvey Keitel) and maybe you
have seen them. If not, we will gladly send them to you, they have
English sub-titles. Wish you further success in your family search, as
one can read, quite some information has emerged in reply to your inquiry.
