My deepest thanks go to Edgar Hauster, Dr. Simon Geissbühler and
anyone who shows an interest in identifying the abandoned and neglected
Jewish cemeteries of Galicia and Bukovina/Bucovina and drawing
our attention to them.
I firmly believe that these cemeteries should and can be cared for.
Initially, by descendants of those interred in them, or by various
individual
groups and eventually by one large umbrella organization.
