Due to some technical problems in Ivano-Frankivsk, I'm running a bit out of my time schedule. Therefore I didn't make a stop-over in Vashkovitz, but frankly speaking, also because you and your family did such a terrific job, with such a high engagemnt and so excellently documented, that this cemetery is not "lonely". In addition, your story concerning the local commitment was admirable. I'm taking care of abandoned cemetries and not so friendly villagers (like for instance in Kyseliv).

I'll do my very best to be in time for the opening of the exhibition in Amsterdam on 31.05.2011 and I'm looking forward to meeting you there.
