On the road from Lviv to Czernowitz practically every small town had a
Jewish community, some more known, because of Rabbis who lived there and
took over the names of the shtetlech, However on the road are two bigger
town with big Jewish communities: Stanislaw, now called Ivano Frankovsk and
Kolomyia, which I visited, where my father and his ancestors were born and
lived. They have reconstructed one Synagogue. Here is a link to a map with
