What was Czechoslovakia and is now 2 countries was never German,it was
Austria-Hungary till 1918 and the Riesengebirge mountainrange was part of
the border.Before WW2 the Czechs fortified the border passes....and when
Hitler was allowed to march in after the Munich Agreement they were left

   It lies between Chech Rep. and Poland (both German areas in the past).
