If you compare any dialect spoken in Austria, Germany and Switzerland (which
is no German at all. While working there I had to ask - when spoken to on
the phone- please speak German. The answer came "Sie meine Schrift-
Deutsch"? Yes we DID speak German and the clearest of them all. The
Hamburger doesn't understand the Berliner / the Muenchner - The Wiener the
Linzer etc. but they DO understand us!!! As Luca said, in the Meisler Schule
we certainly learned it. Why, Hardy, is it so important to you to contradict
this fact??
