I understand that this memorial plate was put up on 9th May.
It was certainly not done by the municipality alone or on its own: a week or so before, a <group> or some people among the present Jews in Czernowitz - Rebbes and/or simple Jews, Newcomers (99 percent!) and/or Oldtimers, etc. - were involved, they have certainly been approached and must have known that this was under discussion or even already approved...
How come that nobody ever mentioned this to us? And why?
Because of the wording on which we might have objected?
I don't think so!
They know we exist!
