Add to this, that most of the Romanians believe until this day:
1. The government of Antonescu was one of the best: no corruption, no crime
etc
2. Antonescu was not antisemitic, some of his subordinates did mistakes and
deported the Jews to Transnistria
3. The war against URSS was a just war, with the only scope to reconquer
Basarabia and N. Bucovina which historically belong to Romania.
Many of my "friends" there, including professors, engineers, and other
intelligentsia think this way.
In no other European country a special Commission was needed to proof the
crimes they committed against the Jews.
No wander that part of the exhibition "disappeared"
