Innumerable times we write about the Czernowitz Jewish Museum.
I have not been there and probably will never be.
But I know what is being shown and what is not ,more than the reporting
visitors.
The current show is based on a concept.
This concept has not changed despite our efforts.
Our advisory delegation returned from Czernowitz claiming success.
I will not spoil this feeling.
Others say that it is a big achievement to have a museum at all.
All are right in their way.
As we know , there is no antisemitism in Czernowitz.
And therefore, night after night , I break my head looking
for a good reason why the picture of Mr Landman who died
of cold and hunger on the Moghilev-Strazhinetz road in 1942
just for being Jewish, should not be shown in the
Jewish Museum of the town of Czernowitz.
         Maybe somebody knows ?
