As a p.s. to this post - the past few years have seen more and more
festivals, events, and exhibitions focusing on the Jewish
history/heritage of Romania. Currently the 2nd annual klezmer festival
is going on (sponsored by the Institute for Romanian Culture and
Austrian Cultural Forum) :
