Yes, I wish to post to the list the English version of the Rubinstein story
about his concert in 1911-1912.
It is much re-printed and retold in German anthologies , memorial books,
etc.
But, Arthur Rubinstein wrote it in English!

I scanned those pages many years ago , and cropped the images, so I do not
know the page-numbers.

Rezzori ,( in David Glynn's citation, a translation from German) tells the
story about Bronislaw Huberman's concert in the 1930's.

I wish to know when did this concert take place and in which of his
(Tschernopol ?) books Rezzori wrote about it.

May be this is only a Czernowitzer "urban legend"?

I'm not an active participant in the CZ list but read most of the
informative and interesting emails.

The library at Concordia University has a copy of My Young Years by A.
Rubenstein, Knopf, 1973, N.Y. and would be pleased to photocopy the pages
you want. But it may take some a week or more before I can borrow the book
and find the pages you want. If I understand you want the story as outlined
by Gregor von Rezzori. I will scan the pages and email them to you.
