Hardy is right. If you look through the photos of Pragher in the online-archives from Freiburg, you will see that he came very close to the front and must have worked as a war correspondent. In many cases he delivered the pictures the nazi propaganda machine wanted him to take. Hardy found a good example. On the other hand he seemed to be a person with eyes in his head and a camera in his hands. He took pictures from everything that raised his interest. So are the pictures from the burned temple and the forced labor in the streets of Czernowitz.
