English is a strange language.
Photographs can be shown at an Exhibition, at and Exposition,
even at an Expose'.
But, while they may be exhibited, if they are exposed,
it means that there is something wrong with them such as:
"They are exposed as fakes", or that they are shown naked.
So ein Skandal! And at the state archive too!
