Hi Rita,
I had in my first class in the "Comenius-School" a classmate Margulies, than
in the Herrengasse, in the
30.ies last century was an "Automaten-buffet", just opposit Gabe, the very
known "Breakfast-restaurant" to all Czernowitzer, it was the first of this
quint of restaurant...there were small, hy tables and standing you could eat
"Broetchen, soup or a drink...You put some "Lei" in a box, pushed on a
button and the requested "Belegtes Broetchen" with cheese, Hering or Kaviar
came out... the name of the owner was Margulies.
