[Cz-L] Sidy Thal, and 19 Short Biographies of Czernowitzers in the Yiddish Theatre

To my Czernowitzer friends,

Regarding the program posted regarding Sidy Thal, you can now find on my
website short biographies of several actors who appear in that program,
namely Sidy Thal, Adolf Tefner and Benjaim Sidagursky.

You may also wish to visit in full (almost) nineteen of the twenty
biographies that I and a few volunteers translated from the six-volume
Zylbercweig's "Lexicon of the Yiddish Theatre". I am referring to native
Czernowitzers, or at least most of them, as some are simply from a town
somewhere in Bukovina. Just realize that each biography deals only with
their life up to the point that information about that person's biographical
information was gathered, so part of their life's work might be missing from
these pages. Just follow the hyperlinks at

massive project of translating these many volumes (and one more), totalling
more than 2,800 biographies (of which to date I've translated 675 of them,
mostly of the short variety).
