Hardy I agree! Very amazing maps...I hope Jerome adds them to the maps on
Ehpes. (Hint!) Cornel

War Museum. You could write and ask them for a copyright release to post them on
Ehpes. They are not however, directly copy-able except by a succession of
'screenshots'that have to be carefully knitted together. A labour of love. The

Thanks Rob for the superb old map of Czernowitz of 1905.
On the left side of the of the map is a map from 1830 .
1830 !
  If your ancestors are old - time Czernowitzer they lived in
  this place

    Here it is , house by house.
   For instance the jewish cemetery on Zelenya is called the cemetery
   of those who died from cholera !
