Vienna, Zuerich or Berlin - I don't think there were nearer
alternatives for women at that time to study medicine.

Were there any special regulations regarding women students? what qualifications would she have been required to demonstrate? are there any information sources that could help me track Olga's studies?

Lemberg (L'viv, Ukraine) would have been approx. 450 km away, Krakau (Krakow, Poland) 800. Vienna over 1000 ... huge distances.

I have a strong feeling that this might be the sister of Enrico, and being born in the same year as Olga MIZRACH, I am assuming that they might have studied together and perhaps this is how Olga and Enrico met in the first place. Should this speculation be true, perhaps both went to the university in Warsaw - which would have been approx. 800 km from Ataki ... is it reasonable to assume Olga would have gone so far to study? what possibilities would a woman student like her have had to earn a living? I do not know if the family could have afforded to keep her through her studies - I think they lived rather modestly ...
