[Cz-L] Men schiesst Yiden !!!

As war started in late June german planes overflew Czernowitz from the West.
  There was AA fire from the Habsburgshoehe .
    The there were explosions from the Prut bridges , then the Ringplatz and
  Postgasse. Houses were blown up.
   War was war . Houses ,bridges must go.
   As the Soviets retreated there was a lull , but not for long.
     This was the time of the looters.
      Shops were being plundered. The set ablaze.
      On the main streets first ,then side streets too.
        Wine barrels were rolling down Russischegasse.
      Somebody was tapping a barrel and people with buckets were
      filling wine. Wine ran free in the gutter.
  Feuer, a notorious vino was carrying his third wine bucket home.
    Neighbors warned him he would be shot for plundering.
    "Me , plundering ? Wine is running free in the street , this is
plundering ?"
     Then came gendarms and started shooting into houses.
    Guided by local Hausmeisters who knew all tenants ,they
    pointed to windows : "Here lives a Jidan , "
     The gendarm would shoot .
      But this was not organized shooting ,just entertainment.
        Then black smoke billowed from town center.
  " Der Tempel brennt " - people were weeping.
     Then one morning we heard shots from central streets:
     " Men schiesst Yiden " someone said.
