But what makes Cz jewish cemetery elegible ?
For us it is the Mecca of all cemeteries.
Our people lie there.
But otherwise there in nothing exceptional in it.

Obtaining some official 'historic monument' status for the cemetery =
from some international organization would probably help City Hall see =
the advantages of a correctly maintained cemetery.
When we were in Czernowitz in April this year Karolina Koziura( who is =
very involved with the study of Jewish Czernowitz history )suggested =
that getting a UNESCO monument status is not impossible.
Maybe we should try to work in this direction?
