Not a bad idea, but not a definite safeguard either. In Lviv they
destroyed the remnants of the the"Golden Rose " synagogue, even though
the whole center of
the city is part of UNESCa world heritage and they are not supposed to
destroy anything.
If one of you would like to try to obtain historic monument status for
the cemetery, I will assist you with all I know, but I cannot take on
this job.
