We pay much more attention to the color , style and material of the
gravestone than to the Steinbarg epitaph.
But this is the Steinbarg heritage not the stone.
This will be remembered.

Thank you Iosif for sending us all this information.
Are you sure that the original design of the Epitaph required it
to be painted? It would have been possible to use different colors
of granite, or glazed clay, but painting the epitaph with oil paints,
seems to me both in bad taste, as well as not practical.
