  A huge pity indeed,
With the jewish community not interested .
This is a document of immense interest for the Jewish Museum of
Czernowitz only a mile away.

But this document belongs to the Holocaust era and therefore
  not admitted into the museum.
Therefore it had to wait for Noemi Eshet to discover it.
       Thank you Noemi Eshet.

Subject: RE: [Cz-L] Deportation register covers & document

Only the upper one actually is the cover for the deportation records.
It is a mailgram dated 07 July 1942 sent to the police commandant of
Ladijin, asking for the list of the Jews(including children) evacuated from
Cernauti on 29June 1942.
The mailgram has been sent by the chief of staff.
Anyway, it is very important to get all this files of the deportation
records, doesn’t matter if by scanning ,Xerox or photo print.
I suggest to send to Cz. a team with researching commitment and good
cameras, to copy the Register Books of those deported to Transnistria from
Czernowitz.
Later YAD V'SHEM may be involved to ask for this documents to be displayed
in Jerusalem or in the C.S.I.E.R.(the study center for the Jewish history in
Bucharest).
This records may be helpful for does who would like to apply for hardship
compensations from Romania covered by the Romanian law 189/2000.
For me it is a huge pity that only in the year 2011 the Register Books of
those deported to Transnistria from Czernowitz are revealed.

Best regards,
Emil Hitzig
