Re: [Cz-L] Czernowitz Jewish hospital

Talking about medicine.
My father owned two books in German written by Dr. Jenny Springer. She
discussed most of the known maladies and their cures.In our house these
books were treated like the bible. Strangely enough I learned from these
books finally where babies come from, because at those times parents never
discussed the subject with their children. I still see my mother telling me
about the "Storch" who brought me, she talked with her tongue in her cheek
and kept on smiling.
