Mimi..it could have been about the Sadagura rabbi. If you look at the photos
of the building,then under the left-hand side is a large basement room
reached by steep steps and at the bottom there is a well! Cornel

This we sang in Czernowitz. I am not sure it was about the Sadagora
rabbi, but it may very well have been.
