Czernowitzers...

On the occasion of Paul Celan's day of birth, ninety-one years ago today, on 23.11.1920, the National Liberation Museum 1944-1945 in Groesbeek/Netherlands will be showing the life of Diet Kloos-Barendregt, a young female member of the resistance movement, and "our" Paul Celan. I'm excited by this exhibition, taking place from November 24th 2011 - April 23rd 2012 and reported on it at:

Initially I intended to conclude the solo exhibition "Schwarze Milch - Black Milk...", released on Paul Celan's day of death on 20.04.2011, still online available at

http://czernowitzart.blogspot.com/

by the end of November 2011, but as long as I'm able to update the exhibition by interesting additions, I'll keep it running for totally one year until 20.04.2012. Today I'm presenting to you a photo of the transcription of "Todesfuge" from the Diet Kloos Collection (see above) and a video clip, showing Paul Sars reciting "Todesfuge", broadcasted by the NOS, both available at:

http://czernowitzart.blogspot.com/2011/04/deathfugue-interpretations.html

Enjoy the show and don't miss the exhibition at the National Liberation Museum - nor my virtual solo exhibition - and come around for a coffee/tea, as I'm living nearby, 15 minutes drive from the museum!
