Re: Ms Kunis again
Oyoyoyoyoy! My face is red. I have a friend who sometimes screams at me, "Where have you been? Where have you been?" Because I'm frequently unaware of things everyone else knows.
I've now read a bit about Ms Kunis and realize that she's a pro and a trouper, not a silly child. She was in Black Swan last year; a film produced for $13 million which received great artistic kudos and did fantastically at the box office - about $330 million world wide - a 255-time return on investment (Oyf mir gezugt)
But as I said yesterday, during the Russian years our beloved town probably fit her description of "backwater," which has nothing to do with us or the town we left. Just the same, I still think she'd look better with a couple of extra pounds.
