Andy,
Dont feel too astonished, most of the old time Czernowitzer
dont know very much about her.
Because Mila Kunis is not from the right side of the track.
Was her name Lotte Fluegelmutter or Gusti Truthahn we
would embrace her with all the tribal rituals.
But she was " only" born Jewish in Czernowitz.
That she made it big in such a short time is not due
the imbedded talent unique to the old time locals.
Andy thinks she is too thin.
But instead she has one eye which is blue the other green.
A very rare condition called Heterochromia.
And most of all she can act.

Re: Ms Kunis again

Oyoyoyoyoy! My face is red. I have a friend who sometimes screams at me,
"Where have you been? Where have you been?" Because I'm frequently unaware
of things everyone else knows.

I've now read a bit about Ms Kunis and realize that she's a pro and a
trouper, not a silly child. She was in Black Swan last year; a film
produced for $13 million which received great artistic kudos and did
fantastically at the box office - about $330 million world wide - a 255-time
return on investment (Oyf mir gezugt)

But as I said yesterday, during the Russian years our beloved town probably
fit her description of "backwater," which has nothing to do with us or the
town we left. Just the same, I still think she'd look better with a couple
of extra pounds.
