this is an answer on Pictor Knapp Street I sent earlier this year:
The only map of Czernowitz (out of 20+ I have), where Knapp Street is
shown is a 1944 hand-drawn Soviet masterplan
(http://www.czernowitz.org/maps/czern-map-1944-fragm-1m.jpg, the
street is marked by the red arrow). It was indeed a short dead end
street, but located off Dragosh Voda (Sterngasse), not Neuweltgasse.
At some point it was connected to Strada Vasile Gaina (Seminargasse),
creating current Khotinskikh Komsomoltsev Street
