[Cz-L] RE: czernowitz-l digest: December 14, 2011

Hi Jeanette,

In Cz. archive there is material regarding two breweries in Czernowitz that
were active between the wars.

1. Fond 332 - Prima fabrică bucovineană de bere şi industria spirtului
"Beresa", societate pe acţiuni, Cernăuţi
It was a cooperative with a many co-owners.

2. Fond 1084 - Fabrica de bere "Bavaria", exploatată de injinerii I.
Protopopescu şi C. Copeţchi, societate în nume colectiv în Cernăuţi -
The brewery belonged to brothers Jacob and Iosef Wiznitzer and brothers
Goldstein, it was confiscated on September 4, 1941, and given to I.
Protopopescu şi C. Copeţchi.
