Hi Cornel and everyone,

We were deported on 11 Oct 41. My father had a Popovitci permission to stay,
as an important metallurgist. He gave his permit to his brother (same name,
same profession). Would there be a possibility to bribe somebody for another
permit it would be no problem (financial). I presume that it was not done
because there was no possibility. My poor contribution to the discussion.

PS If 20000 Jews had all paid for their permits I suspect all of us would
know about it!!
