With each passing of our list members that have shared their intimate
stories with the next generation it shows what a treasure our group is. I
don't know any other venue where the preservation of history is kept in
such a personal way.

As a second generation member, I cherish every detail into my mother's and
grandparents lives that I could have never known had I not found Ephes.

This past week I lost my father who was born in Lvov. It was because of
this list that I was able to find his home in Lvov and bring back memories
to him that he thought he would never remember of his childhood. The good
memories of his childhood came back in a way that he never imagined because
we were able to visit and bring back photos. The same happened with my
mother, Vicky Gedaly.
