Dear Jerome, dear Merle,dear Lucca's friends,

Last Thursday I was allowed to visit Lucca in her apartment in the Elisha
Towers. I only came to give Roey or the receptionist a letter from Andy
Halmay, to which I added some words in the name of her Cz.-List friends.
They called her room and she agreed to see me for one minute. I have spent
with her one minute. I told her she looks beautiful ( yes, the same nice
face !) and that we all love her. She answerd one word "Love".

I will join Jerome by saying:
Good bye, dear Lucca!
We will look at your pictures and read your "Ramblings", and never forget
you.

This is so sad - to all of you in Haifa - and everywhere - my deepest
sympathies to Lucca's family and to her dear friends and neighbours.
May her rich legacy be continued and honoured.
