[Cz-L] concentration camp tattoo

Hi,
I have a question again. My mother was in an concentration camp around
Auschwitz. I don`t know the exact camp name. When I was a little girl I saw
a tattoo at her upper arm inside. It was a number with about 6 or 7 digits,
about 5mm high and 5cm in length. During my investigation I could not find
any description about that numbering type. All other persons tattoos are on
the lower arm outside in big numbers and sometimes with a letter prefix.
Does someone knows that type of numbering, the meaning, or the location
where this tattoo was made.
