I am glad that this topic has come up. I suspected for a long time that we
are Sephardim. Even if we do not have the Sephardim DNA for the past 5
Passovers we chose to abandon the Ashkenazim diet for the Sephardim diet.

I have heard a rumour that the Jews came to Bukovina from
Spain and Portugal after the Inquisition. Whether there is
any foundation to this, is a big question mark.
