 thanks for the lovely photos and for initiative..
So, the family name of your father is Gruber, very interesting, the birth
name of my grandmother is also Gruber, she came from a Gruber-family from
Leipzig...Her cousin, an "Juwelier" from Leipzig emigrated with his family
to the USA, we got his last letter from there to Czernowitz in 1940, we were
already under soviet rules...in the quirles of the nexts years and two
emigrations....we lost the address...but, the ways of fate are very
curious..may be we are relatives?????
