Welcome to the list and thank you so much for your thrilling story. Your uncle, Dr. Leopold Hulles, the editor of the weekly "Der Morgen" and parlamentary candidate for the Joung Liberals, stood in the center of attention in Czernowitz in April 1932, being the victim of a juridical scandal. For disclosing the real magnitude of the scandal concerning the Czernowitz Savings Bank, Dr. Leopold Hulles has been sentenced - as an abuse of law - to THREE MONTHS OF DUNGEON! It was a question of freedom of expression, freedom of the press, censorship, civil rights, etc. and "Der Tag" compared the "Juridical Error Dr. Leopold Hulles" with the "Dreyfus Affair" -> A CZERNOWITZER DREYFUS AFFAIR!
