Traian Popovici's portrait is now on the Rathaus Wall of Fame.
 That's where it belonged long ago.
   Will the young Czernowitzer know who he was ?
    Or what he did ?
      What was he famous for ?
        He was in office for only two short years - 1941 and 1942 it says.
      Actually it was from July 1941 till the spring of 1942 , less than a
year.
        But what a year !
          A year that changed the lives of of us all , forever.
