Dear Edgar,

Thanks for this, which is very interesting. And thanks for referencing my
post.

At last I have recognised a name on one of your lists! Jakob Peritz was my
great great uncle.

But shouldn't "Alte Chorschule" be better translated as "Old Choral
Synagogue"?

David

Mechel Kottlar, exporter - commitee member
Salomon Picker, house owner - commitee member
Dr. Markus Rudich, lawyer - commitee member
Mechel Brender, industrialist - commitee member
Jakob Neumann, magistrate director - commitee member
J. J. Dawer, industrialist - commitee member
Schulim Brender, businessman - commitee member

Many familiar names among those names! Please read the full article and

2006 and 2008 respectively at our Ehpes.com Blog:

In January 2007, our fellow member David Glynn from London wrote a most
interesting mail on the "Chor Schul", which I excerpted for you from the
Ehpes archives as follows:

Enjoy the posting and "Happy Passover!" to all of you!
