I may be wrong...but I do not believe in this case it was a Shil or Shul or
whatever! If you go to the page translated by Jerome Silberbush re the
Jewish Choral Society "Hasamir" you will see what I mean,and in the 30s my
aunt and uncle..Prof.Kraemer and Bianca Neuberger-Kraemer were in
charge....and they had a Chorschule. (ie where the singers were taught!!)

reporting on the General Assembly of the association "Alte Chorschule". Do
you know, dear Abraham, the meaning of "Alte" [= old] in "Alte Chorschule",
i. e. why "old" in the year 1934 and why is "old" not appropriate?
