[Cz-L] Borochow fareyn in Czernowitz; Cz subscribers to the "Lexicon"

A Happy Pesach to all my friends on this list!

I have been translating some 1929-30 bulletins put out by the "Lexicon of
the Yiddish Theatre" committee, and in part it list the subscribers to the
Lexicon et al. It says that yearly the "Borochow fareyn (union)" on a yearly
basis puts on a production, in this case to raise money for the publishing
of the first "Lexicon" volume.

The question is whether anyone is familiar with the "Borochow fareyn", and
if so, what can they tell me about it.

Here is a list of some of the subscribers in 1930 in Czernowitz, and I know
that some of you from Czernowitz are familiar with some of the performers
mentioned below:

Lazar Y. Goldenberg, Roza and Chaim Gutman, Roza and Moshe Zigler, Eva
Zigler and Eva Zilberman, Sidi Thal, Adolf Tefner, Yakov Yakubovitsh, Regina
Simovitsh, Moshe Samit, F. Fishler, Sevilla and Moshe Pastor, Herman
Kasevsky, Moshe Kreyzler, Moshe Reysh, Adolf Stein, Baruch Lidin, Berl
Segal, Yehuda Shichman, Reuben Rubin.

They paid either 200 or 400 leu for their subscription. Can someone tell me
in American dollars how much these amounts would be equivalent to in 1930?
