A Place Out of Time: Gregor von Rezzori¹s Bukovina Trilogy

Michael Cunningham (The Hours), Deborah Eisenberg (Twilight of the
Superheroes), Daniel Kehlmann (Measuring the World), and Edmund White (The
Farewell Symphony); moderated by Edwin Frank, editor, NYRB Classics
Born in Czernowitz (now Chernivisti, Ukraine) on the eve of World War I,
novelist Gregor von Rezzori built his reputation as a chronicler of the
fading Austro-Hungary Empire. Some of today¹s finest writers examine three
of his key works.
