Sorry, no, I don't have any evidence on that regiment, but the wording out of "Der Tag" is quite explicit: "...Offiziere der Kavallerie, deren Regiment in Sadagura stationiert ist..." and it refers to the end of the 19th century.

Happy "hunting" for the Sadagura Cavalery Regiment!
